I can already tell this is utter shit from the Authors notes. Congrats on turning off every sane FSN fan and Naruto fan for being so idiotic and blind to the reasons people like both series and characters and turning it into “HuRP DErP HErOeS ArE DumB!”

You know, there’s a fic here called Myrmidon. It’s a Naruto x HunterxHunter story about Hinata traveling alongside some of her friends to the HxH world during one of its best arcs. I absolutely LOVE that story. The author is easily one of the most talented people I’ve ever had the pleasure to read from here, and specially during its final chapters it’s really f*cking good.

Wanna know something curious? No one is overpowered. No one stomps. Even when Naruto and Sasuke show up, and let me tell you there’s nothing even close on HxH so far to be able to beat them, they don’t just blast their way through the main antagonist, who is in turn given a very deep and complex character. They not only act in character, but note importantly the author does not let her (I think it’s a she? I’m not sure) personal tastes in characters get in the way.

See what I’m getting at? Please don’t misunderstand this as bash or flame towards you, because it’s not. If the way you wrote this is any clue, you clearly have the talent necessary to write something good, great even. So it makes me sad seeing you throw all that potential away on a story that has been already told and re-told over and over and over again.

Don’t entirely discard a character because you don’t like it’s mindset or you think it’s dumb. Don’t make a character perfect just because you really want him to be and let your hype get in the way of what their actual limits and defects. It’s what makes a character even the slightest relatable after all.

I think I rambled a lot, but let me finish this “”””review””””” with this. You are capable of more than a clone. You are capable of more than getting rid of any thrill the story may have had. You are capable than more than writing cheap literature for teenagers who just want to see their favorite MC soloing another franchise’s universe and getting laid by every female character that so much as looks his way. You can still write it if you want, but know that you’re better than that. You’re better than average.

Well, had to take a look at your profile after that one dudes review. A lot of your knowledge surrounding Harry Potter as well as Naruto is very wrong. Dunno if you've ever actually watched or read them but there are way to many points in your rants that stem entirely from Fanfiction.

You get annoyed about the very apparent flaws surrounding both characters and Shiro but if they were perfect in every way as you seem to want in all these series it would make for one very, very boring read.

Gonna wait for the first chapter to see how it goes but don't really have much hope...

There is also no need to insult or be unpleasant with the author. At the end of the day it is his opinion, and is as respectable as any other as long as he does not disrespect. I agree with him in some points and not in others, and you don't see me insulting or saying that it will be rubbish without even having seen the story when I took it out.

You have my support and I hope you continue. Ignore all the people you criticize for hate and rage and focus on those who follow your story.

I already know this if is gonna be complete garbage, I've read your profile, and you give this retarded BS reasons for not liking Naruto "Naruto is a retard because as an attention-starved child with no friends or family he became a troublemaker!" Like really how stupid are you? Fuck given you talk about Naruto being sabotaged at the academy and the civilian council, things that aren't even canon in the series I bet you never read or watched Naruto in your life, you probably get all your knowledge from shit fanfiction and the fan wiki.

I read a Naruto x Harem fic that bashed Shirou before. It basically amounted to Naruto telling Shirou how stupid his dream is and that he should quit before he gets himself killed in the holy grail war. In a rude way of course. Rin, Sakura, Illya all drop Shirou like a hot potato. Shirou dies because what else did you expect?

And Naruto is all righteous and smug about being right and gets ass pats from his waifus. As if yelling at a 'mentally ill' person to stop being suicidal was enough of a preventative measure? Apparently Naruto lost all sympathy for people who aren't pretty ladies. He'll jump through hoops of fire to save a damsel in distress but a guy with a broken psyche? Nah, it's better to eliminate him from the picture because we don't need any other males unless they're in awe of how great Naruto is or a villain that he needs to destroy.

Idealist Naruto strove to become Hokage. Cynical Naruto dispenses harsh reality checks as if he never made idiotic decisions as a stubborn child that have almost gotten him killed.
