I really like this, its a new take on the Ship of the Line idea and has so many possibilities going forward. I've been a fan of yours since I firet came across Origin Story years ago, and still reread it every so often, and this is another well written and immensely entertaining fic. This is pretty interesting. I don't have too high hopes of ever seeing a complete story for this challenge, but in the meantime I'll amuse myself with the good attempts for as long as they last. Thanks for sharing!

The line where Joyce is horrified, she calls Buffy, "Buddy". I'm sure it's a typo. Also there's a discrepancy between the crew size of the ship from the first chapter to the second. First they're saying it's 8,000 and the second he tells SGC it's 10,000. That's a 25% increase. Also, I thought it was 970 meters long in the first chapter and Xander says "over a mile" in this chapter. Yep, I just checked. My memory wasn't quite accurate, according to the SGC's radar the ship is between 900 and 950 meters long. That's about half a mile. If you can make the corrections I'd go with the 10K and make the ship 2 Kilometers long. I can't see anyone from an advanced civilization using miles instead of kilometers. The only reason we still use miles instead of the whole metric thing is because people are to ingrained and resistant to change even when it makes things better.

BTW, I like this story a LOT! and I also like the long long chapters. It really lets me get engrossed in the story. I hope you write more soon.

One more thing I almost forgot. At one point Xander says "me and Willow were..."
The correct English, would be "Willow and I were..." The rule is, if you would say "I was going to do something" you use my example. If you have something happen to you or you are making a statement about yourself. You would say "...happened to me" or "..."happened to Willow and me."

very good the way the gang is handling everthing

I can understand Kendra replacing Buffy as the local (heallmouth) slayer, but does that mean the Scooby gang (Are they still the Scooby Gang?) abandoning Sunnydale? Also, speaking of Slayer and Sunnydale I presume Whistler would give Angel the tip that Buffy is...out of his reach. I also wonder if we'll see from Wilkins about the impact left by Janus' prank on PTB.

That said while Xander spun a legimate cover story to explain the ship and crew he's going to have a harder time covering that up when mention of Goa'uld, Jaffa, Asgard, all things SG-1/SG-AStlantis...are "Wait, what?" response from the "new kids on the block" (well, they are)

A slow build is the best kind. I’m really looking forward to the interaction between the Far Traveler crew and the different groups in the US Government. And what do you have planned for the rest of the world?

Fun developments. :) I like that their body changes are actually forcing them to stay with/in the ship rather than trying to live double lives in Sunnydale.
