Reviews for DragonSlayer for Hire
Malchus-Fireheart chapter 1 . 9/10/2018
That was great.
MushrooomsPTook chapter 1 . 1/22/2013
So cute! You don't see too many stories of Bilbo and Pippin. I love it, thank you!
TheDeathChamber chapter 1 . 6/4/2011
You're writing is simply marvelous. It can be heartbreakingly sorrowful or bursting with joy or a little bit of both. Beautiful characterizations and wonderfully realistic backstories, along with perfectly paced action and charming dialogue. An absolute pleasure to read any of your stories, truly.
Emily chapter 1 . 2/7/2010
Oh, how cute. Quite the conspiracy Bilbo, Reg, Pearl, and Frodo have going on there. : )
Random Hawk chapter 1 . 6/5/2007
Baylor mate... You are brilliant! You are tied for first best fanfiction author ever (with Eggo Waffles, ever read her fics?) You have an unnatural gift for keeping everyone in character, and show the hobbit-like innocence perfectly. I really have no advice... You're too darn good!
Lossenrhos chapter 1 . 2/13/2004
That was really funny! Very sweet and Pippinish. And Frodo and Bilbo came across very well too. Excellent tale, well done.
AnnabelleOdd chapter 1 . 12/24/2003
I love this fic so much! It's so cute, and you capture Pippin so very well in it. It's jsut adorable, and I love it, like all your other stories! You're such a wonderful writer.
Aiko-chan chapter 1 . 7/10/2003
"'I will save you from all the dragons,' Pippin declared, waving his sword about and narrowly missing hitting Pearl in the head with it." - oh my, how very pippin. heh. this whole piece was just delightful and cute and fun. everybody loves pippin, everybody loves bilbo, life is good. ah, rainy day fun. this review is unstructured. at any rate, i thoroughly enjoyed it. splendid job!
Lithrath chapter 1 . 6/14/2003

James8 chapter 1 . 6/5/2003
Hello I just wanted to drop a note to let you know I enjoy your stories. I have read all of them and look forward to the times when you post a new one. I am terrible for reviewing and rarely do it. Shame on me. I was wondering if you are thinking of doing something with Pippin's nurse, Briony. She is quite an interesting figure and would love to meet her. I also love your portrayal of in the Care and Feeding of Hobbits. I always liked him and he doesn't always get good stories. Anyway thanx.

Aratlithiel1 chapter 1 . 6/5/2003
'Cousin Bilbo was hiding from the Tunnellys and the Brockhouses, and stealing from the second pantry!'

OK - I am officially hanging my head in shame for my feeble attempt at hobbity banter in a previous fic. Baylor, my dear - you have a gift. I cannot say it any more plainly than that. Thank you for sharing it.
TrinityC chapter 1 . 6/1/2003
Oh! That's really put a smile on my face - so sweet! Poor bored Pippin - but he doesn't shrink from danger when it turns up, bless him; a trait that will serve him well in later life, I think. And hurray for Bilbo and the others, for making Pip's afternoon a little less dull! Lovely!
Majorkami chapter 1 . 5/31/2003
You never cease to amaze me with your beautiful writing. I love all your stuff!
Budgielover chapter 1 . 5/30/2003
How do you, without hyperbole or excessive verbage, manage to so warm our hearts and lighten our daily cares? The visual picture of this story could not have been better described, and the flashes of humor (Pip almost hitting older sis Pearl with his sword) were a delight. I loved how the hobbits would take time for a bored child, not just humoring him but respecting him. Another difference between Men and hobbits, and another reason I'd like to be a hobbit.
Xenomorph chapter 1 . 5/30/2003
AWW! That was so cute! Pippin the dragonslayer, I love it! This is undoubtedly one of the most adorable stories I've ever read. Brilliantly done!
