Thinking about it, you’re right, I too haven’t seen yet in any fics I’ve read, the topic that you’ve raised. Though it is such an important part of Aiolos’ character, right?

Once again, you know how to convey emotions, build atmosphere, and draw a lively scenery in a few words. It felt like quietly watching an animated scene.
Just like Aiolos, Seika is a caring character, full of empathy. Her emotions and reflection upon Aiolos’ scars were moving. And it was a nice little twist, to have included mixed feelings inside of Seika, with that “eerie” fascination that scars can usually instigate too.
I also find interesting the contrast between Aiolos’ silence on his past, and his inner, mixed feelings about his scars, and his skin “speaking out” for him, for all he had endured back then. How you summed it up in one sentence, when he thought those scars could bother Seika, it was even more moving.
I really liked the fact that even a hero doesn’t always “feel” like one, that even being a strong person, it doesn’t suppress insecurities, and help is still needed. You’ve conveyed it perfectly when Aiolos confesses that the way he saw his own scars and their impact on people, were totally different from what Seika thought of them. Also, I appreciated that Seika’s helping him realize so also soothed her own regrets towards her brother and the war.
All this beautifully strengthened Aiolos’ and Seika’s bonds.

It's very cute fluff and you are right, it is not a topic that is not delved into. My guess is because he did receive the scars from people who have wronged him, and I do like that you wrote it where rather than him blaming those who did so, he instead focused more on the reason why he received them.
