I meant to review this on the day it was published. Poor Johnny...run over AND beat up... I'm anxious to find out how Johnny is and if anything else happens to Pony. And whats this hint about the Dingo... waiting for the next chapter!

This chapter is amazing! I always wanted to know what had happened with Johnny and Bob and I think that you captured it perfectly. I am so excited to see what happens with Dingos! I think you should be very proud with this chapter and please keep posting more!

Hi Writingfan, I have to say I'm a huge Pony fan but this is my favorite chapter that you've written so far. Something about the way you captured Soda is really on point (the way he holds himself until he realizes the want to go after his brother) and even though Pony and Two-Bit aren't narrating here, I feel like you really connected with them. Great job. Definitely want to see what happens next.

Oh man! You had my emotions going all over the place this chapter... I was feeling Soda's worry for Pony, then I was feeling sorry for Pony. Then I was worried for Soda...then I was happy Two Bit was there. Then I was worried for Pony. Then I was like "hell yeah Soda, get him!" And then I ended by being terrified for Johnny. WHAT HAPPENS TO JOHNNY?!

Wow, what a rollercoaster. Nice job.

I'm really enjoying reading this story Writingfan :) You have wonderful details, and the jumping was very intense. I found it realistic how the adrenaline protected Pony from even feeling the knife, then having all of the pain coming later. I was really worried he'd never make it to the DX and was as relieved as Pony when Soda came out to care for him. And poor Pony- I felt sad that he would chide himself for wanting his brother, but who could blame him? I wanted him too! His headache and dizziness and drowsiness were all alarming to me and I felt so glad he woke up and felt better. And then I absolutely loved the end of the last chapter when Darry flies in and all that mystery of what Darry and Soda have been told.

And this chapter- you say there's no action and you hope you did Darry justice- I want you to know this is my favorite chapter! I think you write a wonderful Darry, and I loved the flashback to the conversation with Tim and all the interaction with the gang. I could really feel Darry's concerns.

I think you did a wonderful Tim and Darry! I was shocked when I got to the end and you said that you found Tim next to impossible, while the whole time I was reading I was thinking what a good portrayal of Tim it was! I could picture everything, and I especially loved the description of the burning cigarette in the dark.

I really like this chapter. I think you portrayed the character Darry perfectly. And I know from experience that it is hard to write from his perspective. You showed his worry for Pony and also his anger at the socs. I am very curious to see what happens in the next chapter. Keep writing!

Really enjoyed the internal dialogue and descriptions in this chapter. My particular favorites are "... He scrutinized me, lookin' up and down as if expected to find the words 'I'm lying' written somewhere on my body..." That actually made me chuckle, and where he describes Darry barreling through the door like a lunatic.

I really enjoyed this chapter. This is definitely one of my favorite story's to follow. I am very excited to see how this plays out. I was on the edge of my seat when Darry showed up. And I think you captured the characters perfectly. Please keep continuing the story! 10/10!
