Great ending! I always love a J/D story with a pregnancy announcement :) I'm so glad you mentioned the locket in the final chapter, because that really brought the story full circle.

I really like how you wrote the descriptions of the emotions Josh and Donna felt when they kissed and when either character was describing the love they felt for the other.

The story did feel like multiple stories in one, and a couple of chapters towards the end had a different pacing (faster pace) than the other chapters. But I absolutely enjoyed the story as a whole.

I love how Josh declared his love for Donna, the way you wrote it was lovely. And that first kiss in his office was perfect!

Donna's ring sounded beautiful. There was enough detail so that the reader could envision what it looks like, but without giving the run down of all its features. I really like how you wrote the description and how Donna felt like the ring was made for her. And I absolutely loved how Josh had the ring for a whole year. He knew with certainty that at some point, he would tell Donna how he feels.

In some ways this felt like three different stories. The first one was really angsty, but ended with some hope. Then everything changed pretty quickly and it became a fluffy, funny, on the way to happily ever after story. Then the last third was like a snowball rolling downhill. But in a very good way. I really like how you got us quickly to the happily ever after part.

I'm so glad that Josh has given up the ridiculous idea of pushing Donna away. They are meant to be and I'm very glad you've brought them to this point.

I am really enjoying this story! You are able to capture all of the voices accurately. This line: "I'm coming into some money later today and I decided to postpone it until I collected my unexpected windfall." So funny! Really enjoyed Josh bumbling through dinner but coming up huge in the end.

I can't wait to see where this goes!

"I don't mind going through his stuff and wearing his jacket naked, but I don't want to invade Josh's privacy." This line killed me. It feels sooooo Donna. I feel like she would make that distinction somehow, that there's a difference between prowling around his apartment naked but going through a few boxes is crossing the line.

Awww, sick Donna and comforting Josh. Now that's chicken soup for the soul.

"I'm the first one you call."

This is a beautiful ending. Of course part of me wants them to really be together, but they needed to get back to this point first. And I have faith that they will get there, even if it's not in this story.
