I loved the harry / daphne in this chapter the two are so good for each other. even if i don't agree with your idea to make harry an auror especially not after 17 years where he could never really be happy and always fought. I would have seen him no longer teach defense at Hogwarts or be an instructor for the Aurors. In addition to do that worries especially daphne. ah ah but the end with jerry i love . can't wait to see your new job and curious about how ron and hermione will react to harry and daphne who are in a relationship has Harry the desire to live). For the greengras family I think the mother and astoria will react favorably especially when they see that daphne is really happy. For the father surely badly but I really do not care about the opinion of this bastard for me he wanted to sacrifice daphne to a miserable life of humiliation and rape where she would have just been considered as a baby machine and to satisfy draco. Just to save his skin when if he really wanted to protect his family he could just have fled to another country with his family and hide there.

Excellent chapter! Loved seeing Harry get one over on Jerry, although that being said, Harry should have had a ring on her finger a lot sooner. Great story. I think you do a good job of showing the types of insecurities that Harry would have growing up the way he did. And you write Daphne as someone that is just what he needs in his live, just as she needs what he brings.
