Really enjoying this story, it is well written and moves along at a great pace. It's setting is really unusual and I am loving your representation of the relationship between Mac and his Father. I look forward to seeing how this all pans out

Another great chapter! The way you wrote V.F was great; he's so innocent and so nice! Beautiful. Also, the fact that James was considering letting V.F get shot really shows the logical, action/reaction part of his brain that sometimes doesn't care about the people he should care about. The same brain that decided leaving Mac as kid would protect him rather than sticking around! You nailed it. Can't wait for another chapter!

Oh I like this start! I'm intrigued! Such an interesting plot! Creative! I also loved how James mentioned visiting Uncle V and Mac couldn't help but ask why James couldn't visit him. Uggg so true! Like you, I'm not a big James Macgyver fan (is anyone :P), but he wasn't an awful character either. I wish there was a bit more development on that front, rather than the back and forth of Mac visiting dad, then Mac not visiting dad. But hey, it is what it is! I can't wait to see where you take this and I'm glad you're giving James Macgyver some justice here. Nice!
