bama1965 chapter 1 . 7/23 Nice job Sandysha, I've been a huge fan of you and your stories and you impressing you from a humongous Lancer fan. |
Rivercity chapter 1 . 7/4 I cant wait for the next installment of this story. I usually don't care for young Johnny or Scott stories, but yours are always so wonderfully done, that they are an exception. Thank you! |
fanclaire chapter 1 . 6/28 Thank you, I liked this story!, You write so well this mid-adult child! Val is right, he is entitled to a bit of normality and happiness! school, let Val threaten her tanned skin! I liked it! Thank you ! too bad the story is over. |
Gail chapter 1 . 6/25 I really like Johnny and Val stories with or without the rest of the Lancer's, can't wait for the rest. |
Calliope24 chapter 1 . 6/24 Hi Sandy, I really enjoyed this. You have a real talent for writing a younger Johnny, yet keeping him very much a familiar character. He has a certain degree of youth, without seeming too juvenile. Very credible given his life and experiences. I also like this Val. He knows not to try and parent Johnny too much, but still takes his role as mentor very seriously. I'm glad to see that this will be a continuing series. I look forward to this situation in Corpus Christi, sounds like Johnny will have a lot to deal with. Thanks, KathyW |
Sue chapter 1 . 6/17 Great story! Loved how Val looked out for Johnny. Can't wait to read the next one. |
Guest chapter 1 . 6/16 What can I say Sandy! As usual it is a wonderful story. Every few days I look to see if you posted a story and they are never disappointing. Love it |
Chrischime chapter 1 . 6/18 As always, a marvelous story. I enjoy how you detail the very special relationship between Johnny and Val. You are one of my favorite Lancer writers. And you never disappoint. Thanks for sharing your gift. |
derrx004 chapter 1 . 6/15 The idea of Johnny Madrid attending school seemed as ludicrous to me as it did to him, but you pulled it off. I really liked seeing Johnny being a kid. I liked Val looking out for his best interests but also understanding Johnny had to go on his own path. And I'm glad to see you took Solista's words to heart and made Johnny a year older. I think he needed to be firmly into adolescence before his reputation could take off. I've told you before that I really like how your love for the characters shines through your writing. Again, your Johnny is over the top, but you manage to make him relatable as well as lovable. |
solista chapter 1 . 6/14 13 was a little too young...but it is an excellent story, thank you. |
