Well... Very sorry Shepard, but I don't think you realize exactly what has ensnared you. Great story so far, and as someone who still prefer a lot of the Oldcrons (Yeah I'm one of the old guard), seeing you resurrect the Pariahs made me incredibly happy.

Definetly well written and thought out. The only place where the writting gets a bit wonky is where the cryptek is going over informwtion about the mining colony from orbit as stuff starts repairing.

I was honestly growing tired of fanfics who has OCs or characters from another series always joining Shepard for some stupid reason. I mean they have no obligation to help Shepard or anyone in the mass effect universe. Heck, they are not even obligated to sharing/giving their tech with them. Your fanfic is entertaining to read because you decided not to have the Necrons joining/ helping Shepard and thus making us the readers get excited to see what happens next instead of rehashing the same song and dance with the cannon like so many writers do ( no seriously, they literally cling to the cannon of a series without putting in effort to making changes just because idiots will cry and complain on how "that didn't happen in the cannon").

Also, I quite enjoyed how the Necrons were able to beat Shepard and capture his crew. Plus, I am glad that you did not nerf the more powerful Necrons since too many fanfics annoyedly nerf powerful characters (for example Dbz characters who are powerful) under claiming to give another series a fair chance which in truth is utterly stupid.
