   mersan123 chapter 7 . 7/31 How young and naïve was Merlin in the early years. Such a difference to the man we saw in series 5. Not a good start with the introduction of Kilgharrah. Still Arthur needs to learn just how much influence that giant lizard had. Lets face it, Merlin had no one else to turn to. Arthur needs to see this too. Thanks, glad to see Arthur is finally facing the journals. |

But at least: 1) he misses Merlin as a friend, and when so forgets about the rest 2) is actually willing to read and contemplate what Merlin has written 3) has already long ago decided to be a better king, more just to all I think you do a good job writng this story or us :) |

| mersan123 chapter 6 . 7/24 Heartbreaking chapter. It saddens me to see Merlin so distraught on what he finds in his fathers cave. Uther destroyed so many lives and families. Is Arthur any better? Remains to be seen. I look forward to Merlins time with the Druids. Thanks. |

| PadrePedro chapter 5 . 7/16 Ah, GooD, Arthur is on his way to resurface! How much time it takes him to reach shore and solid ground I cannot even guess. That is for time to tell. However, sad as I was when the BBC TV-series did not let Arthur see who Merlin really was until so late, almost too late, I shuddering realise it probably was for the best. the very best. But, Arthur is strong, he will pull through, and his bond to Merlin even stronger, so there is hope! Looking forward to upcoming Friday! |

Merlins first letter saddens me greatly. Here is a young man that obviously still sees himself as a monster. Very sad. Great chapter. Thanks. |
