I feel like Rita and the part where she knows about her son and Carol but doesn't care could go two different ways. Either she won't judge because... You know. Or she just doesn't really care all that much for her kids anymore.

Ah, so this is the last chapter and it leaves things with an open ended situation.

That's it ? It's just, if this is supposed to be the ending, it's pretty rushed and underwhelming in comparison to the rest.

What becomes of Lynn, does he go completely off the deep end ? What about Rita, and her issues ? If his mother is okay with Lincoln's relationship with Carol, what about his sisters ? Wouldn't she at least find it weird ?

It's just it feels like if this is the ending, it leaves much to be desired.

A part of me gets the feeling Rita not having a problem with Lincarol is (at least) partially because of what she did with Papa Wheelie. I'm guessing the next chapter will show where Lynn Sr. ended up going after he left the family.

Well, at least Lincoln and Carol can be happy together. Rather cold as ice reaction from Rita, considering what ultimately went down with her.

Short but sweet.

Moral of this story: Most things, including your parent's marriage, never last forever. But there's always something that can help you move on and forget about the bad past.

The finale was good enough. I was expecting Lynn Sr to try something with Carol but I was wrong. I would like to see a sequel but doubt it will happen.

At least Lincoln and Carol can be together now

I enjoy everything about this story beside the Lincoln and Carol part. It feels too much like puppy love on Lincoln's part which makes sense I suppose given his age. But his characterization here feels off when compared to your other works such as From the Wreckage which is my favorite story from you. So I'll take a guess and assume the Commissioner for this had some say in how they wanted Lincoln to act? But yeah, everything else is really good.

kind of an abrupt ending, but eh. It was still a good read.

Really enjoyed this story start from finish though part of me feel like this ending if it's meant to be the ending is kinda of lackluster and doesn't live up to the rest of the story.

I think the line "Mom knew about them and didn't care." was a bit too cold and blunt. Granted we know why she can't judge even if she wanted to. Happy again that Poppa Wheelie wasn't around to be obnoxious or a fixture. Leaves readers guessing what Lynn is up to tho, I liked another fan's prediction about Lynn stealing his dream car.

I swear, reading your stories is like reading actual books
