I haven't completely watched V7 but I always wondered why the crew chose to trust Robyn over Ironwood. Or why Qrow chose to fight alongside Tyrian. They decided to be better than Ozpin and choose honest... and a Volume later they go back to lies and secrets. At least Oz had a legitimate and understandable reason for the secrets, I have no clue as to why Ruby decided to lie then.
