Nice story. Steve would definitely be able to convince him that leaving his children was not a good idea, not even to protect them. I like the parallel with Steve's father shipping his kids off to protect them and then none of them were happy. Well done.

I've been reading straight through and not stopping to review (because I really should be in bed already) but you asked so nicely for a review that I just have to. I really liked the use of the "flashbacks". It not only gives a little history of Danny but it also shows all that he has to live for. Plus, it was a nice walk down memory lane of the show.

Good Danny got his memory back. All it took was something to shock him in a way. And of course Danny your kids wouldn't be better off with out you. Listen to Steve he is right. Staying is the right thing to do.

Great last chapter. I can understand why Danny was so emotionally upset that he felt leaving everyone would keep them safer. Thank goodness Steve could talk him down. So sweet Danny’s first concerns were Steve, and then his children. Thank you for this story. Hope to see another one from you soon.

Loved this chapter. It was interesting that Danny tossed the keys to Steve to drive his Camaro without Steve acknowledging that memory. I can understand Steve’s concern about letting Danny in the field. It sounds like memories are flooding back - and their are so many horrible ones...painful ones. I would think intense headaches could be normal after the severity of head injury that Danny had. I can’t imagine coping with all the painful and horrific images and memories, and trying to make sense of them. Great chapter. I don’t want this story to end!
