This was weird, but not bad. I like the idea of a demon king who is really just trying to survive while the forces of the humans are trying to exterminate all of his people.

AND IT JUST KEEPS ON GIVING! This is a great idea that I haven't seen another person do and I have to give it to you for incorporating all the characters somehow into the story. Overall, this is a great story that makes me think about how it can have more Konosuba to it and adding in more characters like the ones after this! I also have a slight feeling that Wiz is going to be some sort of broke wandering merchant that can barely pay her traveling expenses and Vanir is going to take pity on her or something of the sort. I don't really know how Megumin and Darkness got involved though, I'm thinking that this is later on in the story and Kazuma has already gotten used to the trio's antics (sometime equivalent to vol 8 or 9 due to Kazuma knowing about Chris's identity) . I hope that there is a chivalrous thieving group like there is normally, but I don't think there can be because it started within the castle and I don't think Kazuma would want to steal from his already broke self.

Yes, absolutely love this concept, it's so unique that it deserves another Light Novel series itself. Kazuma the Demon King, reborn as a demon King, normally, that would be a bland isekai topic but as an exception of Kazuma and his idiotic party this would really work. Thanks for making this and coming up with this unique topic.

Looks promising! I'd think Kazuma would be a better tactician, but it makes sense that leading an army is different from directing a single party, especially with the added pressure that comes with it.
