Curious how the death kiss case fits in, but I did like Shawn's adamance of Mary playing that memory. Am sure there is a small detail hidden in that memory that is key to what caused Lassiter to shoot him.

I did wonder though what season would this fit in the show? Shawn's vision seemed very Season 1 though he knew Mary from the end of Season 3...

Ah ha! I knew it was about Juliet! Shawn and Lassie care for equally just in different ways. She is the only reason they would do something so scary violent!

Henry picked Lassie up out of the chair?! I never thought I would say this, but you go Henry!

I’m glad that the Chief knows he wouldn’t do it without a good reason. Doesn’t automatically believe the worst of him!

I'm really enjoying your use of Mary in this story! And I feel excruciatingly sorry for Lassiter. I like the way you are spinning this story out, as there is clearly a big reveal coming but the journey is important too.

That has to be my favorite Gus don’t be of all time! I totally feel like we are in an episode! You have their voices and reactions down. As annoyed as Gus is, he is resigned to Shawn. He did what he though right in calling Lassie (who is drugged? Or they set this up I hope.)

His screaming at the sight of blood on his best friend is heartfelt and totally Gus. He might have started off annoyed but that is his brother right there.

Excellent though slightly evil cliff hanger! Looking forward to the next chapter!

I like your use of Mary. The setting of the theater makes a lot of sense for Shawn's mind.

Wondering how Shawn got cornered so much that he'd have to sacrifice his life for, I'm going to assume, Jules. Did the kidnappers want it to be Lassie? I do hope there was more planning involved and that Henry doesn't hurt Lassiter.

So I don't know where the blood dripping down the side of Shawn's face came from or how a case that Chief Vick didn't want Shawn involved in has turned into Juliet has been kidnapped. The kidnappers want Shawn dead in exchange for Juliet? I'm very confused but very excited to find out what's going on. :)
