And things are starting to move. Ino was right to push for more info, even though it didn't go as smoothly as expected, and I'm glad they guys didn't take too long before agreeing. I hope she managed to gather some info before the other Ninja woke up. Why did we wake up btw? I'm so curious about all of this.
Also, Kakashi is worrying about Ino! It's so small right now, but I cant wait for it to grow!
Hmm.. Now that I think about it, Shikamaru is an active character and I can't help but wonder if he's gonna be around as a friend, as someone who disagrees, or as a... romantic interest for Ino.
I'm eager to read the next chapter!

I know it's only 3 chapters but wow, this definitely is my favorite one until now.
It was so fun to read about Ino and Kakashi messing with each other's head. I don't know how it occurred to you, but it's such an amazing idea. I've always thought of Ino's mind techniques as something private, something that only her own clan could truly understand in friendly terms. But you just came and showed me it could also be intimate with someone she truly trusts, without them freaking out.
You have no idea how impressed I am. This opens a whole new world to explore and I'm just excited to be able to read more about.

I am all about Ino-centric especially her mind jutsus’ development because her family jutsu had such potentials but was sidelined and not much explored on. I have a lot to say about that but then again even Ino’s character development only existing on the realm of other characters, which is why I am so glad for the existence of fanfiction.

I love that you opted to redo much of canon and focusing on their jounin days because I find it BS that up to this day, they aren’t even officially promoted as a jounin in canon (although I had opted to not care for canon after the ending, so I may be wrong).

It’s good that you tied her struggle on genjutsu in the series to this and since I am a fan of KakaIno, I am so delighted to see this. Shipping aside, Kakashi really is the best in nearly all and I really like reading their side banters and his creative trainings as well as how she had coped up with it. I also like that you didn’t just made this a one perspective but multiple, it’s always nice to see what the other person is thinking rather than just the main one. Reading Ino’s perspective on Kakashi and Shikamaru’s quirks and understanding them really opened my perspective on them myself. To be honest, it has been a long time since I stepped foot back in the fandom. I guess I must have lost much thoughts of them. I even like Sakura and Tsunade in here, it’s the case of what it should be if much was explored among the kunoichis.

During the mission, I was really rooting for Ino’s time to shine and win but I guess I underestimated the plot, this only makes it more interesting. Not that I enjoy seeing her in danger but I can see now that she has a lot to learn, so thanks for proving me wrong.

Can’t wait to see what happens next. Love this!

I'm glad you've scrapped the original chapter 4 and added this instead. This story has a lot of potential and Ino deserves this! Making this story into just a romantic story will be a crime! Kakashi and Ino kick arse and they're my favourite characters from the franchise so I have a lot of hope from you!
