Wildfire's Flame chapter 1 . 7/13 Nice work. Its a hard piece. I love Mary being lost in the current world. I loved the boys saving her from the ghosts. |
radpineapple chapter 1 . 7/10 This is fantastic. The way you're able to get into Mary's mind and how it fits so in synch with the show is awesome. I absolutely love this. I personally felt as if the show did not spend enough time on Mary's readjusting not only to the new tech and time, but most importantly her family. I'm currently on my first time watching Supernatural, and I'm on this season, so this hit hard. I really enjoy reading your work! |
Blondie 20000 chapter 1 . 5/30 I don't hate Mary but I don't love her either. I can understand her struggle when she came back. One minute she was with her little boys the next minute she is with two grown men. She hasn't been there to see her sons grow up so she hasn't been unable to form a connection with them, she doesn't know nothing about her boys they are strangers to her. I understood when she left the first time she needed space she needed time to process but then eventually it became a continuous thing she kept leaving and it started becoming annoying because in a way she wasn't even trying to be a mum to them. Joining the British Men of Letters I get she feels she is doing the right thing. She wanted to make America monster free so her sons can have a normal life but that's not what her sons want. All they wanted is for her to be there and support them. Again I understand her struggle but it was going on far too long. Season 13 when she was trapped in the other world she picked the AU hunters over her sons she was gonna stay and help the hunters. Season 14 she chose Bobby she left with Bobby and like... Dean has just been possessed by an archangel Mary should be there to give Dean emotional support not run off again. I noticed she always picks other people over her sons and it really does piss me off. Overall this was a good one shot. I do like how you showed her thoughts and emotions. You did stay true to her character. Well done. |
