Like Harry x Gwen as a couple. Please keep the romance straightforward, no misunderstandings (NO MISUNDERSTANDINGS) , harem etc get enough of that shit elsewhere...

Don't really like all the gadgets/ weapons. Not very spidey-ish. Know that isn't what you going for, would love if you did, tho. Like a anti hero spidey with a utility belt symbiote but sticking to fist & webs. Tonfa is just... weird. Maybe build knuckle duster into suit. Though I prefer to scrap the suit once he get symbiote, just weird to have it under his armor. (It's already bulletproof and can make weapons)

Kinda make me think of twelve step to omnipotence where the guy wears armor but he is already indestructible...it's lame. He even has to leave his hand open... Maybe the symbiote can swallow some gadgets but otherwise it's enough

Glider also dumb imo. He can use normal transportation when out of town (he rich, use a car or a jet) , why does he want people to think of the goblin, anyway bad idea. Also adding to the feeling of redundancy, he can swing webs its enough

Don't think having two spider guys will make things boring, look at marvel there's like spidey, venom carnage and 100 other spider themed heroes. It's fine

Imo keep symbiote as just enhancing physically, gets really messy and op with all the other powers thrown in.

One of the things I don't like about The Spider, having that cheat is just a huge plot hole waiting to happen. The author handwaves it by saying 'don't want to go power mad' but it feels cheap. Don't do it

Don't like venom blast either, maybe better put to use by enhancing his muscles and brain (stimulating nerves with bio-E). If you could make it use a lot of stamina to put some limits there. Not a fan of the shooting energy bolts thing. Repeating myself here but isn't very spider man to me

Don't make him become main avenger, preferably not avenger at all. We already know they will end up saving the day on their own(Mc knows it too) don't give me that stuff 'it's a new universe anything can happen' . We both know you will end up following the O.G. plot. Which is fine, writing from scratch is a fuckton of work and this doesn't update at the speed of light to begin with.

Dunno if you read the hammer effect but he ends up on his own path. It's a lot of effort to come up with a good original plot I know, maybe check the internet for a good spidey plot you can adapt that isn't well known

Again please no op, we already have The Spider & Twelve steps to omnipotence, more grounded Mc is appreciated

Please don't rush plot, put slice of life stuff in between, like hanging out with Gwen, Pete & gang. The Spider did this pretty well, at the start at least and I loved it.

He is a person too, not just chasing power/ company goals and beating up villians

Hmm you can really only go so many ways with these kinds of stories, and still make them interesting. Unless you don’t have memories of the future, then these ways are the obvious paths to power unless you add the fantastic four and go cosmic with them or something?
