cckeimig chapter 14 . 7/31 Yay! Things are lining up nicely in spite if Mrs. B! |
KurukiXV chapter 14 . 7/29 Really enjoying this alternate AU! Looking forward to reading more! |
EmlynMara chapter 14 . 7/28 As wise as Elizabeth’s woes were, I fear it was the wrong advice. I think I agree with Darcy that sometimes caution and waiting can have negative consequences. Jane probably would have greatly benefited from some company, and Elizabeth may come to regret her interference. Too bad Elizabeth did not take Darcy up on his invitation, but at least her encounter was enlightening. |
liysyl chapter 14 . 7/27 Great chapter I am looking forward to seeing how you fix the couples. Thanks for sharing your twist. |
Guest chapter 14 . 7/27 Great chapter. I can't wait to read more. |
Les chapter 14 . 7/27 I'm surprised that Elizabeth did not recognize Jane's feelings based on her recent behavior. |
team.K.putt chapter 14 . 7/27 I really like your story. It is refreshing to get a deeper understanding of each character and also how one incident can change everyone so much. The twist with Bingley and Mr. Collins was quite unexpected but I find I like it. Although it seems Jane and Mr. Collins are going too fast, just my opinion. The Bennet family you're portraying is a much better version, they're characters are much improved after all that soul searching. I'm quite liking the interactions between the sisters, but I'm sad that Jane is not confiding in anyone right now. I'm not sure if you will write this far but I think Lydia and Georgiana would become good friends if they met. Anyway, thank you for your story and looking forward your next update! |
HarnGin chapter 14 . 7/27 You packed a great deal in this chapter. I'm curious to see how you go forward with all these beginnings. |
Deanna27 chapter 14 . 7/26 loving the story |
Guest chapter 14 . 7/26 This is a refreshing take on the novel that is, in my mind, better than the original. In the original, you have two dynamic characters supported by flat characters that undergo no growth or development. Too many stories and fanfics continue this trend, and those stories are completely unrealistic and boring, especially as a majority of them paint Elizabeth as this saintly paragon that can do no wrong. Your story wonderfully shows the growth of each character, and how interactions with other characters foster maturity and development. Thanks for the amazing story. I definitely look forward to reading more. |
Guest chapter 14 . 7/26 Thank you for another wonderful chapter. What I love about your story is that it focuses on all of the Bennet sisters. I really feel that Austen created the four other Bennet sisters to highlight how Smart and good Elizabeth is in comparison to them. By focusing on all of the Bennet sisters, you are writing a far more rich and well-rounded story, something that I am loving even more than the original. I truly loved all of the revelations in the chapter. Even Bingley is growing on me, and seeing how much I dislike him, that is saying something. Thank you for writing and sharing this fantastic story. It is so enjoyable to read a story which gives each of the sisters her own chance in the spotlight. I honestly can't wait to read more of this story. |
Jolanda Den Ouden chapter 14 . 7/26 I love long chapters! It made up for the longer wait than usual. ;-) Looking forward to the next one! |
EmlynMara chapter 13 . 7/24 I have to admit Mrs. Bennet’s behavior blew me away. I would not have expected that of her. What a lovely surprise. And Darcy has learned another lesson. I do hope Jane takes her cousin’s words to heart. |
EmlynMara chapter 12 . 7/24 Sounds like Bingley hasn’t figured out his own mind and heart yet. I am guessing Catherine is thinking he is interested in Jane or that Jane has first dibs or some such. |
EmlynMara chapter 11 . 7/24 Quite a few people are working hard, or perhaps not so hard at sorting out their feelings. I am glad that ODC have sorted out their bit of a rocky start. |
