Even though I'm more of an epic saga person, short and sweet romance pieces like these are my guilty pleasure. It's like a fresh drink of water after eating a hearty steak.

I commend you for the amount of emotion you managed to put into a 35k word count story. That required skill and you displayed it so simply yet effectively.

Just gonna say this is by far the best Zelda and Link fanfic I've read. Really loved how much thought you put into this story. Especially how you blended the world and lore of the game with modern day world settings. I could totally see Link working as park ranger and Zelda as an aspiring archaeologist. Aside from the main duo the supporting cast was also great! You kept their personalities intact and you utilized these characters properly.

Speaking of which your story like I mentioned in previous paragraph is "by far the best Zelda and Link fanfic". The first chapter is a well done chapter and does a great job of hooking the reader(s) into your world. The following chapters were great in expanding your world building and of course there's the ending. I strongly agree with everyone who has commented before me. It's just perfect! Bonus points for that clever pun :)

Overall this has become one of my favorite Legend of Zelda fanfics and I believe it's the best so far!

I was hooked on this story since chapter 1 and it's so good! I caught a couple of the references too but I thought I was overthinking it :) I hope you keep writing!

A perfect ending to a perfect story. Yes, Link's pun's are terrible but we love him for that.

Oh what a perfect epilogue!
The ease of their relationship, with each other and around her colleagues, was a joy to read.
The end too was perfect, with Link’s cheesy “I dig you” and his little quip about the most beautiful place in the park.
It was a perfect lighthearted end to this story. I’ll be looking forward to your next story!

This was really refreshing. Thank you. The best stories include your passions and archeology is fantastic and a perfect fit for Zelda. I looked forward to reading every chapter, waited every day for the next one. You really captured character that wasn't in the game but makes perfect sense to a modern setting. I can really see all the characters being like this, it's fantastic. I hope you've had just as much fun writing it as many people will have reading it! :)

Wheeeeeew. I really appreciated how Zelda started off her reformation by apologizing to Paya. That was so good and important! I then groaned in frustration when she started scheduling - seriously? But very much in character. I groaned at how their schedules kept interfering with the Talk. I again groaned at all that silly empty small talk in the car and all the way up the hill, again - seriously? (but again so very much in character!) I giggled out loud at her meltdown when she fell and it started pouring. Poor Zelda and her ruined Plan. Thankfully the talk went well - and I laughed out loud that Link had smelled the rain since morning...

Ok, it was a good redemption arc. Her apology to paya was really good, link is very understanding. Like him i am quick to forgive but different than him i am do not believe second chances after a break-up, never have, so i would not give her a second chance in a relationship, but would love to remain friends tho. Lucky this story is about them and not about my sorry ass ha. so i am happy that they are happy.

Zelda really does care, she really can do anything she puts her mind to, except for controlling the weather. But it all worked out, I do love a happy ending.

Oh thank god they made up. I love that Zelda had an entire PLAN made up, and of course it was ruined and of COURSE Link could feel the rain in the air that moment. I know 45 minutes away to CastleTown isnt very long, but I wonder if that distance will be too much?

*squeals*
