Sry can't tell chapter 1 . 8/7
I think you went too far actually. I think Lila should just be hugely embarrassed by ladybug chat noir, and lots of other officials. I mean she doesn't have mental problems. When should she be caught on recording talking to Marinette rudely.
thanmayi.kandi chapter 1 . 8/3
nope. she definitely deserved it.
Kkcats chapter 1 . 7/28
:D
No.
You did not take it too far.
geekqueen2010 chapter 1 . 7/8
Nah, the salt was perfect! So many salt fics don't make sure she's permanently neutralized, probably cuz they want to stick with her being future Hawkmoth in cannon (Timetagger episode implies that), so seeing you be one of the few that do so is greatly appreciated!
StellarStylus chapter 1 . 7/3
First of all, I think you did a great job with Lila's mindset (however creepy it is), where she rationalizes her own behavior by blaming everybody and anybody except herself. "It's your fault for believing me!" is basically what all scammers wish they could say to their victims' faces.

And I've never seen something before where Lila had a stable family but then she got her mother to (wrongly) divorce her father because of all the lying. Did they eventually learn the truth and reconcile in this story continuity of yours?

I'd say Lila's mother handled it well, or at least as well as she could, given the circumstances.

Okay, I didn't see the courtroom freak-out coming, or everybody else finding out that she'd helped Hawk Moth which helped to set that off. Well, in a way, Lila got what she wanted: She got to avoid prison. Now she'll just spend the rest of her life in the nuthouse instead, HA.

Nah, I don't think you took it too far. I'd say it sounds just about right. Not too much salt, but not too little of it either.

Great work again!

So... any chance of a third story here? Maybe a mock documentary where all of Lila's (now former) classmates and teachers get interviewed about the fraud and everything leading up to that point?
Aurora077 chapter 1 . 7/1
Nope don't think the salt is too far. While Chloe is clearly someone who's upbringing made her into who she is, Lila definitely screams sociopath. Chloe actually has emotions. Other than rage that is.
Shiranai Atsune chapter 1 . 6/7
I'd never get tired of these kinds of stories. So glorious! Gives me that feeling.

And no you did not take the salt "a little too far", I actually thought it was less salty.
animegamefanatic chapter 1 . 6/6
HA! she got what she deserve!
Guest chapter 1 . 6/3
Welp, the sea dried up. Start gathering the salt
Guest chapter 1 . 6/3
Finalmente obtuvo lo que merecía Lila
Juniperblaze chapter 1 . 6/3
Nonsense, that was the perfect amount of Lila salt. She is an absolute jerk! She deserved that! THANK YOU FOR THIS!
Shipper-nut chapter 1 . 6/4
I absolutely ADORE extreme levels of salt when it comes to Lie la, I can't stand her. BRING ON THE SALT! Give me kidney stone levels of salt!
Hellhammer chapter 1 . 6/1
Good grief Lila has more salt than a bottle of Kikkoman Soy Sauce but at least Kikkoman is useful.
cornholio4 chapter 1 . 6/1
Love the story but I was expecting the twist that it wasn’t Marinette who brought it to her mother
Agent N chapter 1 . 5/29
There! That's JUSTICE right there! Thank goodness that Marinette didn't akumatized into Princess Justice.
