Good to see that at least four other classmates (Nathaniel, Juleka, Rose, and Chloé) were able to see through the lies too. And all 4 of them had fun with all of those activities over the weekend as well? (And, heh, imagine if either Nathaniel or Chloé tried to play the drums just to fill in for Ivan for their band Kitty Section, even just for fun.)

As for your end-notes...
True, kids their age wouldn't have this kind of money, so it was well-played. And also a very nice touch at the end with how Marinette still tries to do the right thing and does right by them even after they do stupid stuff like this.

this reminds me of another fanfic I saw on tumblr; same plot line, only everyone in the class (minus marinette and Adrian) got scammed.

Why wasn't Max one of those who believed Adrien and Marinette? They had the evidence? The Chameleon episode aside, Max isn't stupid to ignore solid evidence about the location of Lila's "party" and the info about Ambassador Rossi going back to Italy...

Yeah I read a story similar to this, but instead of them getting arrested, they were all stranded on an island waiting for help.

I like this a lot. It shows how easily a younger person's moral compass can be swayed. And that no matter where the law holds if you know you are doing the right thing, and stick to what you know and believe, that good things can come from it.

And I think that class would have to be doing a lot of ass-kissing (so to speak) to earn back that trust they threw out over a prospect that was way too good.

But the best part is the fact that those that didn't get to go or refused for various reasons, had the real fun for the weekend. That they made memories and a stronger bond as friends.
