I’m happy that Anakin was able to pull together his old group of best friends, and it’s awesome that Rex took Skywalker as his last name. And poor Anakin. I didn’t think I could hate Sidious any more than I already did. I guess I was wrong. So… Padme will be having another child. I guess that’s a little bit of light amidst the darkness.

It’s so like Anakin to try and escape against all the odds, but I should have guessed that Palpatine would be waiting for him. Poor Luke. He doesn’t deserve this.

Poor Obi-Wan. I can only imagine how he must feel. And Anakin... oof. He's so brave. Padme must be a complete wreck, and it doesn't help that she has children who need her to be strong. The Skywalkers (including Obi-Wan and Ahsoka) all need hugs.

Poor Anakin... forced to see all his worst memories again. Sidious is insane if he really thinks that Anakin will Fall and remain his apprentice. The second Anakin gets freedom, he'll be out of there unless Sidious uses his family against him...

Very good start. You set it up well, but didn’t waste a lot of time before getting to the action/conflict. You left wanting to read chapter 2, which is obviously the main goal. Writing style is solidI think you just stick with it and keep going.

I'm currently in full freak-out mode. Great beginning! I'm totally hooked. xD
