Well, that line. I don't have to guess where you got it from. That is one good line though. Issei is kinda insane and kinda ballsy. He really had one good idea of what he has in mind. And for the whole summary about the Issei we all know in the anime, you are right. Hate when that happens.

This was fun to read about Issei jumping into with those girls. That Esdeath was one surprise but that Emperor Jimmu was another one. I think that Rias likes him more. Plus the comments was just fun. With the mystery, that was just fun. And well, I think that it would work out eventually and so far, the boot in the face can be one fun trip.
Especially when you got the same ideas in mind. You are right about a lot of things.

one of the things I find the most missing in fanfiction is the underutilization of the Pantheons.
devils, fallen, angels are overused, rarely other factions. What about vampires and werewolves?

one of the most inexplicable things is Roman, Egyptian, Celtic Pantheons absence.
I think the author hasn't done any real research on the Pantheons which is unforgivable imo.
especially the Roman pantheon which is heavily inspired by the Greek Pantheon!

I really hope that you will throw the canon out the window! I look forward for more

You know, I just started reading the LN, I ran my imaginations too wild during reading so to control it I decided to read some fanfics. Coincedentally, the first fanfic I've read (this one) has the intention to oppose the High School DxD Canon...

Will Ise be a Human? If yes than not good. If no and he is a Demi Dragon (Son of Ophis, Great Red or Apophis) or a Demi God (Son of Vishnu, Kartikeya or Kali) than good.

Fun first chapter, the banter between Issei and the girls was nice and most importantly not one-sided. Also kudos for the summary, imagining Draig interjecting his comments with quotes from movies is hilarious, I hope that Ddraig will be more than a glorified battery to make the protagonist stronger but a true partner.
Does the fact that they story is fantasy/drama mean that there will not be romance at all or that the story will not focus in it?
For some reason I want to see Issei get one over Akeno, she always seemed to me all talk and no action when it came to the whole dominatrix theme.
Looking forward to seeing how the story will go from here.
