What a great chapter! Had some very sinister overtones to it. Part of what has always enamored me with Paru's world she created was just how dirty it really was beneath the surface. You are really channeling some of that energy with this chapter! We got just a taste of the violence humans can dish out, and an idea of what our favorite black horse thinks about them too. I'm hungry for more!

Lovely chapter! Was a treat to see more of both human history and their culture. You continue to capture each character perfectly, too. Loved the interaction between Legosi and Vigil. Can't wait for more!

Ah, so Man was betrayed by their best friend. For the Dogs, this betrayal will come back to bite them. Especially since many of them went through those government programs that figuratively defanged them.

And Cherryton was once a Human city with the Academy having been formerly the Fort? Nice observation on the latter; that school is set up more to be a fort given how it’s located on a hill overlooking the city and is right next to the sea.

You know, if were talking about humans that are equal to the setting of Beastars, that would mean that humans are darn horrifying to deal with in a fight. Must mean if they did lose the war, that it must have been a very costly victory for the rest of animal kind.

Great chapter.

I get the feeling that even if a human were to graduate as a top student, they would have no real future in animal society. Yet another cause for the revolution that is to come soon. Although society might not even see it coming since they seem to be currently fixated on the ever-deteriorating Carnivore-Herbivore relations due to all the recent devourings, which will both provide a distraction and cause division between the animals much to the humans’ benefit.

Loved the chapter! Did feel like a bit of a retread from some of the manga/anime material, but your spin on it was refreshing. Definitely hoping we see a bit more of Juno, as her involvement in the main story has been really lack luster. Always felt she had the power to carry her own chapters well, but so far Paru's kept her off to the sidelines.
