As far as the discussion of Santa Claus goes, do they not remember the whole “always winter and never Christmas” thing? Father Christmas can only actually come once the Witch’s power is breaking and things are melting.

Also, there are no human settlements in Narnia during the White Witch’s reign, though there was Archenland and Calormen, though they are quite far away. Calormen is even across a big desert.

Going to be honest, I'm like 70% convinced Willow and possibly Xander are going to end up Apprenticed to the Witch, to learn magic, with Buffy beating up the wolves to kill time /laugh

In response to an earlier commenter, it doesn't even need to be magical manipulation.

Remember before Sunnydale Buffy had been through a lot. Being introduced to the supernatural, losing all her friends and boyfriend, her mentor being killed, having to deal with Lothas by herself, breaking up with Pike, her parents neglect, her parents divorce and then being locked up in the nuthouse by her parents within the space of a year.

By the time Buffy got to Sunnydale, she was while masking it, effectively estranged from her mom, isolate for over 6 months with no one to talk to about the supernatural or cope with Merricks death while under her watch when he sacrificed himself for her. Traumatised, emotionally battered and vulnerable is the least you can say.

And all through this period of hell, Angel was there in the shadows watching. And as Angelus, Angel knew psychological manipulation and seduction.

The episode when Angel is revealed as a vampire, the lies and manipulations shown. This was a classic older man grooming and manipulating a traumatised underage girl. Combined with Giles silent approval...…..

You know, I feel bad about this comment I'm about to make. Because your stories are varied and wonderful, and I love the characters involved with them, and especially the random-ass plots behind a lot of them. Whether it's Xander going on a road trip with Sirius Black, carving a portal, or actually living in Narnia; they're all funny, sweet, interesting and full of good characters...
I just wish it was more explicit.
I mean this is kept pretty clean, comparatively speaking, to other fanfics. I feel bad about saying that I want this well-crafted story to have more detailed smut in it.

As usual, this is another awesome story. The idea of carving out a piece of Narnia for yourself, where you don't age and time stands still allowing for ultimate relaxation/recuperation/and now with added sexy times?

A capital idea, especially when you don't even have to be bothered by getting involved in the plot. At the same time it's like the ultimate "I win" button - I mean, how's the Judge ever going to stand a chance? They have all the time in the world to come up with plans now, to train themselves for virtually any threat or to just take any major offensive against them out at the ankles immediately. And in comfort. Pretty fucking great.

Not to mention that it's funny as fuck - "You know, you talk a lot of smack for a man within dick sucking range," in particular made me actually laugh.

As for things they need that seem oddly neglected: beanies or trapper hats. Easy way to avoid immediately freezing your ass off upon entry to Narnia. Chemical heat packs for hands and feet, all the beef jerky and trail mix, (nasty as fuck but admittedly useful in such a situation) instant coffee, coolers for beverages (you've got plenty of snow and ice; you could also alternatively pack soda, vegetables or meat in the snow deep enough to simulate cooler situation) and - this is just me - in-season fruit. Tasty and then they could make snowcones.

Halloween though? Xander could dress up as Jigger Johnson. I imagine that legendary lumberjack would be a great skill to have in Narnia. Plus, them axe skills. A Ranger from DnD would also be a good choice. Willow I actually like the plague doctor idea, gives them their needed medic but I'd be remiss to not suggest a Crusader!Willow after the earlier line I pasted. Some kind of nature spirit/guide wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Anyways, fantastic story that I'm certainly looking forward to more of!

/The first paragraph of the chapter confused the heck outta me because it turns out that I somehow skipped chapter 5. So, I had to go back and read it, and re-read chapter 6. I just thought that there was a time-skip the first time I read chapter 6.

/The typist/author interaction was funny.

They shouldn't be bringing plastic, but metals sound like a good idea, Narnia is medieval, metal should still be much more expensive over there, and while they don't have much contact with the locals, Xander do talk with the wolves, and while they're technically enemies, the wolves have acknowledged they wont get Xander, while he's in his cottage, so it's a fine neutral spot, for trading scrap metal with the wolves.

The wolves themselves probably don't have much use for metals, but the dwarves also serve the White Queen, and they are known for their smithing for a reason, so paying the wolves in food, to act as intermediaries between the dwarves and the Scoobies, could get a good deal going, and the Scoobies sure could use some gold.
