Nice

This is so bittersweet— but leaning more on the sweet side, and heartwarming! I really like the pace and flow of time, the encounters and not-quite meetings. Rikuo would totally be one to check in on his friends’ descendants every now and then if they lived within his territories. Nice touch about Kappa and Tsurara! XD The ending where years went by and yet another generation arrives is simply awesome. Also, Natsumi’s granddaughter guessing Rikuo’s name gave me the chills. X3 Thank you for sharing this, I truly enjoyed the read!

So rikuo is like a yokai guardian to his friend's descendants. How sweet of him to do that but at the same time it kinda makes me sad knowing he outlived all his friends. T_T. Nice character portrayal btw
