Great start! I’m not a Rene fan, so this is right up my alley.

I like this. I'm all in for bashing bella's mother! grin. It's well-written and really sucked me in from the start. I like that it was esme and Jasper who heard the call. And it's good to read a canon type story again. they seem to be hard to find.

Great beginning. I've always thought that Renee was just a selfish bitch. She's often written as a dippy, silly woman but I've never thought that letting your children take care of you when they are still growing themselves is a BIG character flaw.
