Still loving this story. But I feel like there are plot threads that have been forgotten... that human that Taylor's spy-plane pulled from the sea? Haven't seen anything about that. Maybe her crew playing tricks on her again?

I'm finding your character very interesting. You've really painted a Taylor who's just so broken and tired from all her fighting that she just kind of wants to give up. She's haunted by all the things that happened to her, and yet... she can't stop moving forward. I'm not sure if it's admirable or sad really.

I found your piece of Shun's perspective a few chapters ago very interesting. How there are flashes of light (memories) and vast frozen shards in Taylor's depths. Oddly pretty as descriptions go, chilling in their implications.

So with Taylor walking ashore, does that mean she'll just go and sit down next to our dear Seer? I mean, she's confused everyone else with her Abyss-magic-bullshit, might as well go the extra mile and confuse the supposedly "all knowing one"

I did not know anything about the kantai collection before jumping into this story, but your writing has been so good that I have loved this story. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I hesitated on this for a long time because it was recommended to me as a fairly depressing saga. I see where they were coming from, but I disagree. Taylor, through all her suffering and confusion and everyone's chronic case of Not Fucking Talking to Each Other (aka "Anime") gives this tale a rock-hard core of hope.

I'm glad I gave this story a try. I am really enjoying it so far.
