DebatorMax chapter 8 . 8/1 Really like it! The premise is very original and I’m thankful. |
Guest chapter 7 . 7/13 This is a very engaging story. |
Sfloresf chapter 7 . 7/12 Progress... After all the Horrible training and humiliation Luke has endured throughout his young life... he’s finally beginning to feel like a person. Vader is beginning to understand and try other methods to get close to Luke... to try to undo all the trauma and hurt he has caused his young son for so long. I really liked how Sabé stood up to Vader... even going as far as yelling at him.. she even called “Anakin!”. I thought the little banter and the jokes between Luke and Vader were very heartwarming. Luke was besides himself... not truly understanding or trusting Vader’s words at first but then he allowed himself to relax and in his own way appreciate his conversation with Vader. Vader, almost sounding like Anakin when he apologized to Padme during the Clovis ordeal. I had to chuckle when Luke asked him if Vader was jealous of his father... totally threw Vader off.. This story is really building the drama and heartfelt feelings. Thanks for the wonderful update. Hope you are doing well and keeping safe. ;) |
stregian chapter 7 . 7/12 Everyone made some nice progress here. When Nova said to Vader that all he did was hurt Luke, I was mentally clapping. His intentions don't matter. He needs to protect the real Luke, the human Luke, and not just the idea of a son and future Emperor. And it really does take a village to raise a child...or in this case...an Empire. Nova is the gentle mother figure, Veers is the funny but helpful Uncle, and Vader is...or is becoming...a father. I think that, for a parent, one of the best things you can do for your child is know when your tactics aren't working and that you need help. It takes humility and honesty to realize this but putting the child first is the goal. Vader is learning. Great chapter! |
Guest chapter 7 . 7/11 Will there be an appearance by Grand Admiral Thrawn? I know that he was mentioned in an earlier chapter, but it would be great for him to appear. |
Guest chapter 7 . 7/11 Now all we need now is Admiral Piett. |
Anonymousness chapter 6 . 6/29 You are working your magic with this chapter once again! Your imagery is striking and beautiful, and your characterizations of Luke and Vader are really heartbreaking. Vader's POV after the training duel was like a punch to the gut, I could really feel and empathize with him, even knowing that he's not in a healthy state of mind, and his actions are 100% not ok. My heart ached for Luke in this chapter too, so many of his lines hurt (like a buttcheek on a stick), and I could feel his raw desperation. |
NonSoCheNickMettere chapter 6 . 6/29 Wow! Really interesting fiction, I really Hope to ready more soon. |
Sfloresf chapter 6 . 6/29 OH FORCE! Luke is so traumatized from the harsh training he has been subjected to, that to him “Training” equals pain and fear. It’s so unfortunate that Luke has these horrible feelings towards training with Vader... mostly because Vader can be a good teacher like he was to Ahsoka. I’m very concerned for Luke. He so young and vulnerable to people who want to seize control of the Empire. People like Senator Erialus... who is slither his way to Luke and tell him what he wanted to hear. Lucky for him his plan backfired. My favorite part was when Vader gave Luke the stuffed Nexu with the apology note. That was sweet... It shows that Vader is trying so hard to allow himself “Good” feelings again. I can’t wait to see how Vader is going to handle Luke’s plan to escape. Thank you for the update. I appreciate your dedication so very much. I hope you are doing well and keeping safe. ;) |
Sermione chapter 6 . 6/26 I'm sorry for both Vader and Luke...Vader wants his son to open his mind to him, but all he does is hurting him at the end, making Luke distrust him even more. I hope someday they will come along. |
Sfloresf chapter 5 . 6/17 OH WOW! The revelations in this chapter were INCREDIBLE! Staring with Vader’s confession of WHY he would not hurt Luke in any way. I gasped when Luke asked. Vader to tell him about his mother. Clearly it is painful for Vader to recall anything about about his life prior to him becoming Vader. But... nonetheless he shared his memories with Luke... which in my view has started the mending process between Vader and Luke. Luke’s dream was so sweet.. “A Bantha and a Shaak an animal from both Worlds.” That was incredibly SWEET. Luke’s new toy is another significant sign that Vader is gonna do everything he can to repair bad memories Luke May have. Funny, how Tarkin thought he would become allies with Vader... guess he didn’t expect the “Little Emperor” to have such a power Father. When Nova tells Vader about the book on parenting... I was laughing... Very Funny! This chapter has taken this story to another level of intriguing. I truly enjoying reading it. Thank you for the update. Your dedication to your readers is greatly appreciated. Please Stay Safe. :) |
Evergone the Great chapter 5 . 6/17 "Palpatines son by adoption." Vader stated. Vader peirced his crimson blade through Tarkins chest. The last thing Tarkin heard was "My son by blood." And THAT is how I'm hoping the eventual meeting between Vader and Tarkin will go. |
Guest chapter 5 . 6/15 Tfw you're expecting the priviledge of being offed by Lord Vader and instead you get assassinated by some common alien. Seriously though this chapter was great, and the ending was immensely satisfying to read! Stay safe and update when you can! |
Stregian chapter 5 . 6/15 Aw, the little stuffed animals in the dream. So bitter sweet. A lovely touch to the story. And I DO hope the new stuffed animal is from Vader. Imagining him with a tiny colorful plush in his hand, dwarfed by his huge armored fist, and placing it delicately by his son't head is a strange and equally tender image. Well done. |
MJ Mink chapter 5 . 6/15 Oh, my heart...fluffy moments! They’re getting closer and Luke is starting to Trust. And Vader revealed! Good for him. And good riddance to Tarkin. |
