I mean, I would LOVE to see more from Masens POV. I kinda love him. I’m not upset that he slept with that chick. I mean, I was really really hoping that he wouldn’t have. But the fact that he did does make sense. Even though I hate it. I kinda hate how he strung Tanya along for over ten years. If anything, that’s what I would be most upset about. He knew she wanted more and he kept giving her hope. And the fact that he was all “why doesn’t she get it, we haven’t been together for months!” Months is not that long! Especially if you keep coming back for more.
Anyways. Despite that, I really do enjoy his character. And I love what he did for Bella. Maybe I’m loving a “savior Edward” ( I read some precious reviews! Haha!) but I’m okay with that because I love that trope!

I can't get enough of this world, these characters! It's been helpful to see what Masen's been up to while he was away. I don't grudge him his choices. He's trying to step back, give Bella a chance for something better and the fact that he can't get away from her, even when he tries, that's bigger than his behavior.

He can't forget about her. And he wants more for her than that strip club, than him.

I think Tanya finally got the message. Masen's life seems so lonely.

He's in so deep. And if given enough money he'll do what he's told even if it hurts someone. That's the life he lives, no questions asked.

I love hearing EPOV. I’d love, love, love to hear his POV on the next few corresponding chapters, specifically the rest of what happens during this visit to Bliss, and subsequently of their first night(s) sleeping together.

I was expecting Masen to be in some shit during his absence and to get a glimps at it makes it even more relatable and rough. Thx for not making him look like a choir boy all of a sudden. I totally get his screwing escape with a wishful image. To him he'll never have her, so desperate times and desperate measures.

Masen's head is meh! A thug with zero character arc is still a thug. If only this author had a bit more writing experience, she/he would have chosen to write from third person omniscient point of view, where the narrator knows all the thoughts, actions, and feelings of all characters. Writing White Noise from third person omniscient point of view would have enabled the author to move from character to character to show how each one contributes to the plot. The primary advantage to writing fiction in the third person (using the pronouns he, she, they, etc.) is to enable the author to act as an omniscient narrator. Information can be given to the reader about every character and situation, whether or not the individual characters know anything about it. Third person narrative doesn't necessarily have to be omniscient, it can be distant limited, which would enable the author to create a tighter narrative compared to omniscience, allowing for deeper connection between the narrating character and readers, and also allowing for more distance than in a deep POV. This type of storytelling would make cliffhangers unnecessary, which are bad when they don't create suspense like they are supposed to or become too commonplace. Hotteaforme used TOO MANY cliffhangers in White Noise, and this suspense-building device got predictable fast because it promised the type of revelation that never come. When every single cliffhanger doesn't lead to something special, it reveals the author as being manipulative and calculated, because the payoff doesn't live up to the hype.

Certainly Edward is no Prince Charming. How can he be when so involved in the mafia. However, as soon as he met Bella his world revolved around her. I didn't necessarily need this, it didn't tell me anything that White Noise didn't already make clear, but I enjoyed it very much. Thank you, Kerstin
