I'm loving this! Don't forget about Barty Jr. though. I can't imagine Harry just letting him continue to exsist and allowing the whole third task debacle. Also, very smooth how disowning Bellatrix will bring them the goblet. Does Lodic know Harry is a horcrux? I'd think if his destiny is so important he'd do something about that. Then they just have to find the diadem and probably can use the elves to search. Dumbledore deserves to find the ring though. So arrogant. Would have been a short story of Snape hadn't tackled the old git.

I meant to add this on my review for the last chapter. A Regent wouldn't have the authority to disown a member.

I really hope you know that "Regent-Lord" is contradictory. Either you are a Regent or you are the Lord, or Lady, as the case may be. If you were trying to combine the titles for House Potter and House Black, you should stop. It doesn't work like that. They are two separate entities despite them referring to the same physical being.

As dentists, I hardly think that Hermione are going to be impressed by Harry inhereting $90,000.

I don't think you have the money right. JKR said that a galleon was about five pounds. This means you had Harry inhereit less 100,000 from his parents. That's not the kind of money to go crazy about. Plus, the Potter's were independenly wealthy. According to JKR, James didn't work because he was so wealhty. A measly $100,000 is not indepdendlty wealhty by any stretch of the imagination.

Snape was not in the least bit concerned about Harry when he found out Voldemorte targeted the Potters. He was only concerned about Lily. Don't be write revisionist history. It's not becoming. Snape told Dumbledore he didn't care of both James and Harry died; he only cared about Lily. Even though you want Snape on Harry's side, don't insult your readers with feelings of remorse that Snape didn't really have.

A great story so far, thank you for writing, I can't wait for more.

Interesting take on the prompt so far. Only thing I'm meh about is that Snape imo was wrong and always has been. Never liked how it tried to make him a victim whereas we never got positives for James,
