First off i wanted to let you know I am enjoying your story so far. Just a little background information about Hermione Granger she was born on September 19, 1979. So when you wrote "she was seventeen, screaming and writhing on the floor of the manor, and he was watching." Is not right Hermione was 18 years old during the horcrux hunt with Harry Potter. Harry, Ron, and Draco were all born in 1980.
