Inuyasha's "Fuck, baby" line made me swoon. Such a short phrase but soooo good. It's provocative and possessive but in that way the fandom loves seeing Inuyasha fall seamlessly into the role of being instantly protective of Kagome.
Hope you decide to do a follow up. There are so many different routes you could take with this budding family. If I may throw my $.02 out there I would really be interested in seeing how their first date would go. :)

Every time. Every. Single. Damn. Time you write a one shot it’s the most epic, well-rounded, loveable, addictive story, and man is it ever hard to leave the world you created once ya get to the end. I don’t want to leave this story, even though it was so satisfying, I just want more. I want to find out what happens next for this in-the-making’s family. I’m crossing my fingers that some day we might get a revisit and see the progression of a relationship- both romantically and family wise. From beginning to end this story spoke of love and trust and connection. It was like a big, warm, (sexy) hug and I fell in love with this universe. (I mean, every time InuYasha called Kagome-baby...Fuuuuuuuuudge.) Honestly, this is a contender for my favourite oneshot from you, and I didn’t believe your stories could get any better. Very much proven wrong. Bless you for taking precious time out of your day to write InuKag’s for this community. You are the real MVP.
