Reviews for Fighting Back
danielhaire4 chapter 1 . 7/7
Excellent story. I like how this Oliver was smart enough to call allies he could trust after the constant debacles with the "recruits" and the FBI.

One comment to note - Lyla did not need to get permission to operate in Star City. Diaz's operations violated several federal laws. The most prominent on these would be the RICO Act (Racketeering influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) and the Patriot Act. As ARGUS is a Federal Agency, they would have the authority to investigate these crimes as their mandate is covert and occasionally not so covert anti-terrorism operations.

I like the fact you brought Slade Wilson/Deathstroke into the story. In my opinion, however, pairing up Oliver and Kara isn't something I am keen on. I'm on Team Ollicity, so I'll always favour that romantic partnership being a part of any fan-fiction story, crossover or self-contained.
Twiceland2015 chapter 1 . 4/30
I love this. Yes finally A reality check of Dig and Felicity and the recruits. I had the same line of think as well, with the why didn't he call his super friends. I would like to see you do more like this and Would to see to do a follow up on Oliver and Kara having a baby that would be fun to see.

Could you make a story were you are leading up to this?

Absolutely incredible story so far

Interesting story.

Darker Kara is always interesting and Oliver asking his friends for help instead of the FBI is so much better than what we got in the show, with Oliver forcing to out himself and end up in prison. Watson got what she deserved.

I enjoyed the recruits and Diggle getting called out on their crap.

Honestly, Diaz was so ridiculously overpowered and we got no indication of him having any advanced combat training, therefore Oliver should've been able to beat him easily.

Barry saving Quentin and Laurel was great.

I agree, Oliver, Sara and Roy are great teammates, and Slade and Black Siren could work too.

And Barry and Caitlin married and Kara pregnant with Oliver's child icing on the cake.
Aragorn II Elessar chapter 1 . 4/27
Very nice story.

Nice to see the recruits being called and Felicity and Dig facing the consequences for their stupid actions, and won't blame Lyla for divorcing Dig if he pulls some more BS.

A darker Kara being married to Oliver works fine, and is a good pairing.

Barry saving E-2 Laurel and Quentin was nice as well, good job there.

Diaz got exactly what he deserved.

Poor Slade, as both his sons are evil now, but he still has Oliver and his team, and they are family too.

Yes, Team Arrow should be Oliver, Sara and Roy, with Barry, Kara, Legends, Slade, Lyla, Nyssa, Thea and a non-hypocritical Diggle as allies who can assist them at times, that's it.

Barry and Caitlin being married is awesome and infinitely better than Iris. Seriously, WestAllen is more toxic than the ground around the Chernobyl.

Awesome job on this one.

Enjoyable story

Yeah Oliver calling his friends makes far more sense than making a deal with the corrupt FBI agent and well that's Arrowverse for you of plot over logic.

Oh yeah the whole Oliver becomes a member of the SCPD, was so stupid and the writers have forgotten completely why Oliver even became a vigilante in the first place.

Like the team Oliver puts together in this of people who has his back and not judgmental jerks like Diggle, Felicity and the new recruits.

Much better ending to season 6

Like the Oliver/Kara and Barry/Caitlin pairings

Also nice for Barry and Caitlin having a kid along with nice moment for Oliver and Kara realizing they are going to become parents

Good story

Oh thanks for the shout out
