AWWWEEEE :'((

this was such a wonderful story! i really like how bethan wasn't endgame actually, and that we had like moments of a really solid relationship. like i think it makes total sense for the time they had and their relationship deviating from platonic but still not being completely romantic– i think it makes what they had so much more special :")

i loved the idea of everything though! i like how benny had to make tough calls and i love how his relationship with ethan unfolded! it was all superb – i'd love to see more stories in a long one-shot kind of style! i think its so much fun to be introduced to a weird and whimsical world for a little while, and you did it really well :D

Alrighty, here! It might've taken me about 2 to 3 hours to get through (cause I'm a slow reader. lol) finally. But I did! :D Lol! I'm gonna try and keep this short, but um...I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! XD

Ethan's powers in this, sorta reminded me of this one old tv show called The Ghost Whisperer that starred Jennifer Love Hewitt as the main character. In the show, her character could see and communicate with ghosts and tried to help them moved on to the afterlife by finding out what their unfinished business is and how to resolve it properly. Which is exactly what Ethan had been doing! :D Lol! Though, there weren't any reapers involved in The Ghost Whisperer, though. Lol! ;P

I loved how even though it might've meant getting into some serious trouble with the higher-ups, Benny was still willing to go against the rules and face whatever punishment there was for breaking them. As long as it meant that Ethan didn't die at a young age. At least, as long as he's around, that is. Thankfully, though his punishment for disobeying orders a second time was just him being transferred to do boring office work for all eternity, instead. So, that's not so bad compared to the alternative. Which is being sent to Hell. I guess, accidently falling for one of the human residents that live in the town that you oversee as it's reaper, is just one of the job's many occupational hazards, then. Lol! ;P Especially, when it calls for you take their life so soon in life, too. :P

And for Ethan. Even though he ended up with Rory in the end, Benny will still always have that one special place in his heart, though. Because Benny was technically his first love and boyfriend that he had. And you never forget who your first love was. Er um...some don't, at least. *giggle* :P I'm sure if things would've been different for them in another life (as in being born in the same century around the same time), then maybe they would've wound up being together (like they wanted) for a lot longer than they were. But at last, that wasn't the case. But at least they can still be really close friends, though. Even in the afterlife. :)

Anyway, this was a great one-shot to read and I really enjoyed it. Especially, since I've been DYING for something good and somewhat long, to read here lately! Lol! So, thank you for fulfilling my need for a good read, finally! :D Much love! *winks and blows you a little kiss*
