JaeDragon777 chapter 1 . 4/24 omgggg I love this so much. Man, poor Tsunade. She tried changing some things but that just didn't work out. But her leaving with Orochimaru must've made some notable waves, at least. And! her taking care of the kids? yes. always. 10/10 (smh Itachi livin on cookies you really are a child) wonderful writing, keep up the great work 3 |

RIOSHO chapter 1 . 4/24 So is it Tsunade reliving her life or someone else living in Tsunade's body? |
Madam3Mayh3m chapter 1 . 4/24 Would kill for a follow up chapter that goes through the entire series ! I imagine her her at the very least do little small acts of kindness but overall still doesn’t want to get involved most things. I’m also wondering what would happen if the first and second were able to see who she’d become ! |
naari16 chapter 1 . 4/24 Wow this is really interesting. I’d always wanted to see an SI as Tsunade, but this took a completely different direction that what I anticipated when I saw the summary. I wonder if it’s because of the person that she was before she became Tsunade that she chose to have such a hands-off approach to changing things in her life that she knew were coming, but I’m really looking forward to seeing why she became the way she is in this chapter. I also wonder what difference in her abilities we’ll be seeing—that line about not getting to study healing and biology for as long as she wanted in particular seems to be a hint that this Tsunade took a different approach in developing her skillset than the one in canon. She does still have the creation rebirth and the strength of a hundred seal, I think, since there was a line about how Dan would kiss the place where the diamond eventually develops, so I’m guessing she’s still an extraordinary healer—but maybe not as good as in canon? There was also another line about how she reset the door after Deidara blew it off, which makes me wonder if she just manually put it back in place or if she actually just regrew it with Wood Release, which she would have the genes for? She’s clearly still extraordinarily powerful since she was accepted as part of the akatsuki and Orochimaru acknowledged her as not being a burden, but I’m interested to see where you’ll take her development, though I have a feeling the focus of this story will be much more on her development as a person than as a ninja (which is also a valid focus!). Tbh maybe it’s just being in quarantine that’s making me read this through this specific lens since things feel pretty personally out of control for me right now given the pandemic situation, but it’s pretty depressing reading about how she seems to assume almost no active sense of control over the course of her own life. We see that reflected in particular over her choice to remain a 17 year old here rather than the adult form that she chose to take on in canon, and it says a lot that she would choose to remain /right/ at the age one year before she would be considered an adult in our world. In other words, I’m read that as her choosing to stay a child forever so that she wouldn’t have to assume responsibility for her own life or the things that she didn’t try harder to change. Maybe this is too harsh of a reading of the character, though, haha but I think we’re meant to feel the same sense of loss of control that she feels, and you do a great of bringing that through. This is all to say, I’m excited to see what you do with this going forward! Definitely a different take on this character than I’ve ever seen before or expected to ever see, but that’s exactly what’ll make it so interesting to read. I am personally hoping that Tsunade’s life doesn’t end up as bleak as it seems like it currently will in the end, but your other stories haven’t ever subjected your characters to misery pointlessly, so I’m also looking forward to seeing why you chose the specific life path for Tsunade that you did! |
