Wonderful. I do so enjoy a good fic, and I must say, I love your taste in music.

Close to ten years since you finished this story, you have yet another fan. I've always put off watching Cowboy Bebop since the early 2000's (I know, I missed out, but no regrets now. Wonderful experience seeing it for the firsy time as an adult; I have no regrets) but just yesterday I took the time to sit down and watch it. Besides the overall genre-defying greatness of it, what struck me most was how well the characters were written and thought out, and the dynamics among them is just stellar. I wandered into fan fiction to satisfy my craving for more of them, and found this gem. I open lots of tabs of stories that look promising in one go and make a judgment of them within the first few paragraphs. Most get closed. Yours didn't. So by your own sheer brillance, this was the first Cowboy Bebop fic I'd ever read-and I loved it.

Damn you, setting such a high standard for all the rest. I'm pretty much positive I won't find much else of this calibre. Your writing is classy, subtle, yet descriptive and satisfying, which reveals much of you as an intelligent, observant, and wise writer. It seems well-thought-out, just the way I like my fiction. You have a gift for fleshing out characters, and though this isnt a plot-heavy fic, it was exacrly what I was looking for.

Positively delicious. More power to your writing! I can only imagine how much better you've gotten at it now after 9 years. Cheers!

Amazing amazing story like truly amazing. I read it as a bedtime story but I didn't get sleepy at all it was that amazing. Glad I got to read this work of art (seriously you got me hooked on JetxFaye) and it got me pumped up to write this year! Thanks for finishing the story.

this has to be the best faye/jet story i've read on this site. yep, it is. lol admittedly i started out as a spike/faye fan but slowly but surely i've turned to this couple, it just feels right to me; the two of them as a couple or at the very least attracted whole heartedly to one another. lol your writing is impeccable and ur use of wording just made the whole reading experience real, i could picture things so vividly in my mind. you write these two so well. it's been a few years since this story was published here but you most definitely deserve a review :D definitely going to fave this! maybe i'll get to read more from u soon! more faye/jett xP stay awesome!

I haven't signed onto in years but I couldn't just read this story without giving you the much deserved praise. Great job, my friend.

Jet/Faye, to me, isn't just the best pairing in CB but the most realistic. You did an excellent job of painting a realistic alternative route to the pairing. While most people just go with the whole 'spike just died' angle, with everything taking place a few weeks after 26, you were completely original.

Your portrayel of Jet and Faye were spot on, near perfect. I loved your inner thoughts of Faye and the picture you painted of Jet was absolutely fantastic.

I can easily say this is one of my favorite stories I've ever read on this site, and my favorite CB ever.

Again, excellet job and I hope to read more of your work in the future.

I wasn't quite sure that Faye and Jet together was my cup of tea, but this story was good, and ended well. It's nice to imagine Jet as the owner of a restaurant, too. xD

I always had a little crush on Spike, but your criticism of him (via Jet) was pretty illuminating. You got Jet and Faye down pretty well, I think.

I just wanted to say that I absolutely love this fic more than words can say. I've had somewhat of a difficult time finding great CB fics, especially involving Jet. Thank you so much for all the time and work you put into this fic.

Holy smoke, you're amazing. AMAZING. Incredible story. This has to be the best Jet/Faye fics I've ever read. It's too bad that there isn't much else out there. Hot first love scene. I love your character descriptions, especially seen through the eyes of either Jet or Faye. Those great intimate (not sexual) scenes, like the robotic arm sensitivity, were awesome.

... once more, the best CB fic I've ever read, and a top five out of the hundreds in all the other fandoms. One thing however-perfect throughout its length, I can't help feeling that the end, chapters 8-9 was a bit too short. Perhaps I'm just greedy and want more, but I honesetly felt that the ending between could have used a page or two more to conclusively flesh out Jet and Faye's mutual feelings. It really was kind of fleeting.

I'm sold on this pairing now, and if I ever write a fic for Cowboy Bebop, it'll be about Jet and Faye, and it'll be dedicated to you. My highest regards, excellent story.

Read up to chapter 7 more than a year ago and had given up on this, the best Bebop fic in the fandom, for dead. To come back now and found that you've finished it is a dream come true. My highest regards to your story telling skills.

I loved this story! I just finished reading it (started last night when I was struck with a random craving for tales of the Bebop crew). This has been, without a doubt, the best Cowboy Bebop fic I've ever read. It was practically flawless. Your portrayal of the characters were spot-on, in my opinion; your detail was plentiful and descriptive without being over-the-top; the plot flowed very, very well. You people with your writing ability, always making me feel all inferior-like...

The only error I spotted was in the last chaper, while Faye and Jet were in the restaurant. Faye said, “Jet, for God’s sake, why you don’t care anymore?” That made me giggle, despite how serious their conversation was. I almost felt bad for how ill-timed my laughter was. I couldn't help warping Faye's voice in my mind and giving her an accent - "Jet, gaddurnit, why you dun' care n'mo'?"

Anyway, I should end this review before it gets out of hand. Forgive me for it's length and rambling manner. If it's any consolation, I plan to add this story to my favorites.

I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed this fic (yay for food in fics). The progression was wonderful and the end really fitting. I especially like that it was romantic, but not over-the-top, not to mention quite classy. And for the record, this is the only fic with Faye I have ever followed. Good job and thank you.

I dunno how he's a pimp, either. But anyway. _ Great fic, I really really hope you continue it! It's so much fun to read, and the UST is very nice also...

One little note, Faye's "top shelf" margarita shouldn't be with Cuervo Gold, which may be the most universally available tequila, but isn't very good, or even "real" tequila (100% blue agave). A really good margarita would be made with a lower-range variety of, for example, Patron or Milagro or Corazon or Herradura (the upper range of which would be wasted on a margarita, being rather intended for sipping)... actually Corazon would be the most appropriate in name, perhaps, for a romantically-inclined fic... *big grin and wink* Anyway! I know they pawn off Cuervo as being "good tequila" in most of the country, but I think Jet would know his tequilas and find a way to get the REAL good stuff! _~ Faye's more of a whiskey drinker, so I don't blame her for not knowing better. (And hey, if you ever wanna know about some whiskey, feel free to ask me.) She was probably gasping cause the Cuervo was so rough and nasty. lol

...okay. Enough of that, I'm quite certain. I love this fic, and like I said earlier, whenever you get time, I really hope that you'll continue it. _ It's one of my favorite Jet/Faye fics, cause you have a good sense of the characters, write very well about very interesting things, and have a kickass sense of humor.
