How long do you plan to spend on this noob island? It reads like it's gonna be a while.

You should probably work on your character voices, they all read as the same person and become a bit robotic from time to time. Especially on the MC's voice, he's too bland and indecisive, and a bit of a moron.

Also, what are his clothes made of? He's been wearing the same crappy ones for months and he's got no problem with keeping them on still? That's just stupid.

Good idea. With that whole bending stuff theory. However, the main character has little to no goals. No ambitions, not even something that he disagrees with or agrees upon.

It feels like the protagonist is some sort of hollow marionette that simply follows the story. I mean the voice inside his head has more sass than the actual protagonist. Which on one side is actually great because I turned out to love the voice inside the head. But it got less and less the further the story progressed.

He knows One Piece, so please hint us what type of character we can expect the protagonist to be. Does he want wealth, riches, power, woman or simply live his life in a peaceful manner? Or is he someone that is unsure of his situation and simply goes alongside the flow?

I would love to read something about the actual character. We get bits and pieces from the story of One Piece which is amazing.

But what does the protagonist wants? His powers are awesome and yet he seems like someone who respects authority in a glorious way as he addressed the commodore with "Sir."

Which is fine, but what happens due to that? What are his following goals?

Note, I care about this story and I love the concept. However this thing about what the characteristics of this story Buggs me.

Okay, now we're getting somewhere

When I first saw the title and summary, I thought this was gonna be a marine self insert.

Which I was excited about.

Now I am starting to think that I'm gonna be disappointed.
