Thank you for the chapter! LOL it cracks me up that Jaskier called Triss sapphic in a song and paired her with Yen without knowing who he was singing the song to. Also his total lack of a filter about Yennefer is coming to bite him back in the butt. I feel really bad for Yen at this moment, but I look forward to seeing more Geralt and Yen interactions soon. The twist with Triss and Gerlat trading destiny duties was really interesting, but that also means we'll hopefully see Ciri in this fic too!

I'm laughing really hard at the misunderstanding that comes from Jaskier completely believing this is a different Yen and Geralt calling Yen by that shortened nickname. It'll probably get resolved really quickly from Geralt explaining in the next chapter and I look forward to seeing what Jaskier's reaction to finding out Yen and other Yen are the same person. Also wow Roach is like a puppy who will follow anyone who has food and cuddles. Apparently all Roachs are and that is a nice hilarious touch of backstory to end the chapter with. I thought the joke with the lamprey was hilarious, as was Yenna's reaction to it. I'm a little confused on what time this story takes place. It is definitely a bit after the Battle of Sodden Hill, since Jaskier mentions getting the story from the survivors, but in the previous chapter, Yenna and Jaskier see a person wearing a string of ears that sounds like Adon, who dies before then. I'm curious if your other fic takes place in between the dragon one and this one to explain how they made up because Jaskier doesn't seem all that mad at him, even with the fact that he's trying to cheer Yenna up added to that.
Also, I'm still debating on how much of Jaskier's "plan" to get more stories out of Geralt with Yenna is tinted by the feeling that he doesn't really think Yenna's home life is great and wants to keep her around. I guess we'll find out! Thank you for the chapter!

Oh my gosh what is happening in this chapter. It's highly interesting to see this from Yenna's pov (or what I'm assuming is her pov) but this was honestly a really unsettling chapter. Especially with that starting line? Wow, I really like it though. Thanks for the chapter!

The part about Jaskier fumbling around trying to play with the doll and Yenna is hilarious, in a sad sort of way. I love reading their interactions and how out of depth Jaskier is with this whole situation. Now I'm really really really curious as to what happened to Yennefer to make her like this (de-aging? Time reversal?), and I can't wait to see how it all plays out and if she keeps her memory of this time when she reverts back. (Or if she ever does revert back) Thank you for the chapter!

I was a little weirded out from the comments but I then remembered the whole pokemon thing that happened some time ago after seeing you were the writer and wow it has been a long time. I can't believe he is still leaving comments... but on to the actual fic. I'm really glad you got into The Witcher because your content is always a pleasure to read and not a rehash of the usual tropes. I think the way you write as Jaskier also flows very smoothly and sounds just like him. I have no clue what's going on so far but I'm excited to see where this is going to go.
