This is such a great mix of funny and thoughtful. Danny's thoughts about death are so insightful.

Awwww Lancer's really looking out for him. Teachers like that are the best. I wish that Danny was able to explain that he's not really suicidal but that's what makes this fic so bittersweet. Still, it warms my heart!

This is such a good fic! I love the way you handle Lancer and Danny's characterizations and dialogue. It's just the right mix of teenage angst and Danny not wanting to think about things that are bigger than he would like them to be. This one is going in my favorites :)

Your intro with the 'rations' had me ugly laughing! Great work, author :)

Mr. Lancer may have read the essay but he's not exactly good at reading his students at least Danny, nevertheless he shows he cares and that's what matters in the end.
