BeautyxoxBeast chapter 1 . 9/25 This fanfic really hit me emotionally and I loved every moment of it. The way Ginger reacted in her high school years around everyone. Had reminded me the way that I acted back in my high school years. |
Lumiere de Venise chapter 1 . 6/5 Beautiful. Due to my age, I don’t remember much of ATBG I will admit, but I do remember how much I disliked Dodie and on how Darren’s cheating disappointed me. Courtney was always way better than Dodie as a friend to me so I wouldn’t of minded if Ginger dumped Dodie as a friend, never got back together with Darren, or if Ginger went lesbians with Courtney. It is nice how you even showed that Miranda despite her rudeness is honestly in the long-run has a more stronger sense of friendship than Dodie ever would. Carl also wanting to stink bomb Darren was a nice touch. Another thing I liked is that you never portrayed Macie negatively but just that she was too hopeful for the friendships to go back to normal, Macie to me was always a nice girl that cared more about the true friendships and not just popularity like Dodie. I like how with such a specific and heartbreaking subject such as a betrayal of both a lover and a friend, all the characters in this AU fanfic act very much in character, something that I see a lot of fanfic writers and even myself at times struggle with. Anyways good work. Favorited! (PS: I typed the review above like last month but my whole town’s electricity went on and off due to a thunderstorm right when I posted review and by the time I realize it didn’t send my review when I reread the story a few days later, I was too tired to retype what I had...but apparently, probably due to me being on FF via iPhone, it saved my review so now I’ll be uploading this long awaited review. Like I said earlier, this fanfic is very good.) |
Mable chapter 1 . 4/27 Very much enjoyed this! I always wondered what it would've been like if Ginger didn't keep forgiving Dodie, considering that in the long run Courtney was a much better friend to her, and this story filled that void completely. I adored every moment of it! |
