I cannot describe how much Kakashi's interactions with his dogs simply melts my heart! The way you manage to depict the state of his mental health is really impressive, it's neither overly dramatic nor downplayed. I really love the development in the struggle between his professional and functional side and his vulnerable personality. And I'm hyped that he is finally talking about having a "mental" crush!
Lastly, your updating pace among with the quality of the chapters has been impressive! I'd say you definitely deserve a break :) I'm looking forward to reading more of your story once you feel like getting back to it again :)

Never knew Kakashi had this much emotional turmoil stewing within him, the poor dude needs a legit Yamanaka psychologist or something but that might trigger some alarms and get him pulled from ANBU, not knowing he's gonna end up as Naruto's sensei anyway heh. Much resentment, more doge, wow.

I swear I have either read this before or something very similar. I was looking for it for ages and I am so happy to have stumbled across it once more. Such a great story.

I have never wanted to hug Kakashi as much as I have after reading this. I also just want to utterly destroy anyone who has ever harmed this man in anyway. Also anyone who has ever asked for too much from him. Because Kakashi would give away as much as he can without acknowledging just how much it breaks him.
