Miriam1 chapter 11 . 7/30
I don't know how I forgot this story, but you've found a lovely place to leave a cliff-hanger.

Draco is maturing far faster than the Trio he's sort of trying to befriend. (That's probably because he IS older, even if he is only in a thirteen year old body.)

He's discovering the hard way that changing the past is ridiculously difficult to do, and some things are SUPPOSED to happen, even if some details get changed.

People aren't listening to Draco. But seriously, that is par for the course. All of the Gryffindors present have a strong anti-Slytherin bias, and they refuse to believe their own eyes in favor of thinking badly about Draco.

At present, though, it seems like Draco caught everyone's attention.

This is well done, and I look forward to your next installment.

Sincerely,
Miriam

I like how it's going so far, but could you change it up a little more from the book, so instead of Cedric make it Draco and change the first two tasks or something? Also, I think Percy should still be the child of the prophecy since Draco has this world. Or Nico could be the child of the prophecy. I look forward to an update!

I absolutely love this story! Great job on it! My first thought to the end of the chapter was to freak out and think about all the things Draco might have changed because of him coming back. But then I realized that he didn’t know how exactly the golden trio freed Buckbeak! So now I have hope.

I just found this today and may I say, this is so nice and well written. Some mistakes yes, but those are easy to overlook when concerning the excellent plot and the way you have chosen to present the characters. Altogether, amazing fanfic you wonderful human.

Draco catching Pettigrew was inspired. Ron will complain, but I am sure that exonerating Sirius and allowing Harry to be happy would be a beautiful move, on Draco's part.

I am glad to give you such joy. I look forward to reading your next installment.

Sincerely,
Miriam

I like this. This is a fun exploration of what Draco would have done differently.

It's particularly clever, because most of these do-over stories are usually from Harry's perspective.

I like it that Draco is rediscovering how he could redeem himself. Third Year, in canon, was the first time he was specifically, personally, and viciously cruel. He worked HARD to set himself up as the villain. In canon, Draco made fun of Harry for his reaction to Dementors. That was completely unnecessary, and it changed him from an annoying school-yard bully to an active antagonist that was very seriously on his way to darkness.

The idea that Draco has told Hermione to look out for Scabbers as an animagus would solve Sirius and Harry's problem SO much sooner, and it would take Voldemort's servant away.

I am looking forward to your next installment.

Sincerely,
Miriam
