In the books Hermione wasn't super model beautiful, at best she was 'the girl next door' pretty who had the ability to look stunning if she could be bothered with putting on makeup and fighting with her hair every day, which she didn't bother with because she didn't see the merit in it. |
| RedReaper118 chapter 2 . 6/13 I have to admit, I find it hard to believe that if this spell existed that voldemort didn't know about, specially if it was illegal. Plus, if the witch knew the curse why didn't she cast it on herself. I also find it hard to believe that it would be seen as a true curse, it would be easier to believe that more people were envious of Hermione rather than pitying her. Furthermore, if Hermione can't die what is to stop her learning the curse so that when she falls in love she can give that person the option to join her. If I'm being honest the curse sounds like the best version of being an immortal, with very few of the downsides. Hell, I'm sure most vampires would be jealous of her curse since she doesn't have to drink blood, can go out in sunlight/looks like a normal human and can have children. I'm not trying to downplay that outliving everyone else would suck and is probably very lonely but it's not like she couldn't make friends with other immortal beings. |
