This is so sweet! I feel like this is a completely realistic reaction for someone who’s been deprived of interaction for 10 years. I feel like this kind of relationship could develop amongst these characters. The only thing I feel could be slightly different would be the timeframe; two days after we leave them in the movie seems like an awfully short time for Sonic to refer to them as parents. I could see this closeness developing maybe over the course of 2-3 months. Small thing really, overall VERY well done!
