Oh my goodness, ghost prince. This is great. I love how you interpreted this prompt! And Danny will eventually end up as the king anyway so no wonder he's sulking. This was just too good. I also love how you used dialogue so well to keep the story flowing!

This had an undertone of a pyscho-drama or something, but it was so funny! "It's an office chair and a fancy hat"! Oh I love that! It sounds like Ken Jeoung when he's guessing a masked singer. Or me when I just can't let my little sis be right. XD Ah, good stuff. I also like how you offset Danny's denial with Dani's acceptance. It really balanced everything nicely.
I'm going to insist my office chair is a throne from now on just to bug my sister.

This was hilarious, lol. Danny's reasons for not wanting to be considered as the Ghost King - both "what if it traps me" AND "hey I'm not even dead yet" - are sensible, yet the way he goes about it, ("not a crown! a hat." "Not a throne, an - office chair?") are increasingly ridiculous. I can see why the Observants are so distressed.

And of course, Dani just wants to be royalty by relation, lol. Can't blame her.
