I could definitely see how the Straw Hats managed to fit into a marine mold and still got up to plenty of there usual adventures. You also did a fantastic job with the marines. I'm kind of glad I only found this fic once it was finished cause I was on the edge of my seat for a big part of the story xD I love how you included so many characters, this was really fun to read! Special mention for how you portrayed akainu, because that's one of the most interesting characterization I've read of him! I had never read a fic where he and luffy had the chance to bond in any way, and I thought that despite how different akainu acted here it was very in character for him (not that authors are obligated to stick with canon characterization, but I really like how you wrote him in this story ) |
