This is a fantastic read so far, and I've still got another chapter to go. One small thing I did notice is your misuse of the words 'bemused' or 'bemusement'. 'Bemused' is a synonym for 'confused' or 'puzzled' while 'amused', the word I think you meant to use, means 'to find humor in something'. I'd noticed the same mistake in the first chapter as well, so I thought I'd point it out. Other than that, fantastic story man, looking forward to more!

The fact that Zuko can learn air, earth and water bending katas and modify them to his fire bending style is something that almost no one is able to do so.
Should we expect a Zutara pairing in this story, since it's being awfully teased. Of course Zuko would want to overthrow his father, this war must come to an end, but the question is, who will do so first: Zuko himself or Avatar Aang? Or maybe together like canon?

I like this Zuko. He's definitely interesting.

A Prodigy Zuko? Me likey! Zuko has photographic memory then to be able to retain so much knowledge without forgetting anything he learns from it. His mind being able to process so much information helps. It's clear he's the superior firebender to his younger sister Azula yet keeps it a secret from both her and his father Ozai at his mother Ursa's insistence to swear not to reveal his unparalleled genius. Even Iroh doesn't truly the kind of man his nephew Zuko is. Wonder how this will affect the events of ATLA in the long run?

Oh my god. After reading all three chapters, I’m completely in love with this story. Never would I have thought that a slightly ooc Zuko fanfic would capture this much affection from me. Thanks for creating and writing this fanfic!

This story is absolutely amazing. It’s a great AU. The crew members are funny and charming. Zuko is hilarious. Would it be too much to presume that this story is moving in a Zutara direction? Even if it doesn’t, I will continue reading but I think you have set up a good foundation to move in that direction.

Yes, Zuko is TOTALLY a genius and his mother hides it because reasons. This changes nothing, even if it should have bombed canon out of existence.
